Almost definitely, I did think the lume on the previous was questionable at best but I still probably would’ve bought and fiddled with it.

Yeah the dial colour was nice on the other one too, as was the second hand.

Oris does seems to be one of those brands that gets knocked off alot out of India etc. along with Tissot, Titoni etc.

Ok I didn't post this one because I wanted it for myself, and it wasn't a BIN:

I'm happy to report I was successful getting it for $29:

It was cheap so why not? I need to find a good strap for it. Any recommendations @JwRosenthal .It does run decent so far. before on eBay and after a quick clean up

Lug size?

Ohhh, maaannnn, 17mm is always a challenge! You can cram an 18 thats soft and hopefully won't look crammed, or go with the limited options in 17mm that are fairly pedestrian like the offerings from HR or Colareb. I hate to recycle, but I think the blue or green suede from Gecko may be the option here (bronzy faded dial- go with complimentary colors). I have squished those gecko suede ones into 17-17.5 without it looking odd. Of course, the strap will cost thrice what the watch did 🙄

A 11/16 strap would work. You should be able to find a vintage one on eBay.
17mm is just short of 11/16 Inch
