Shipping from New Zealand to the States or Europe isn't very expensive - so you should keep an eye on our equiv of eBay - Trade Me. I just picked up the Bulova 666 'Devil Diver' and Tissot Seastar with Lemania movement shown below for well less than half the USD cost of similar examples on eBay, etc... link to Men's watches below and there is vintage sub-category...

Thank you for a new hunting ground

Apparently beauty is in the eye of the beholder- sold for $2.2k 🤨

add another to the i want to pay 200 and not 400 list.

this duward aquastar is in exceptional, investment grade condition.

i'm just not a fan of this case style, so i won't be a player

i still can't believe the caseback doesn't have any scrapes. all of these buzzsaw case backs are usually scratched up beyond recognition

i hate posting a lot of these because i want most of them. but i have to exercise some control.

I say that if someone buys a watch based on a recommendation on this thread they owe the community 3 posts of the watch on WRUW today. I personally love to see members enjoying their watches. I love to see all the beautiful Omegas and Rolexes, but the variety is great too.

Mismatched hands on that one.

it looks a lil weird, but i've seen many others with this same makeup. almost to the point where i think it exists..i'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just saying it isn't a lone wolf

Not bad looking and it looks like an eta in the blurry movement pic. It appears someone tried to scrape some of the moss off the lume- and not too well...or its just a really blotchy mossy. Could clean up a little

How would tritium be cleaned up? I have a dive watch with similar funk going on on its hands like the 2 o'clock marker on this one...

i gotta ask, why no date?

For me it is about symmetry and not having to set the date on a watch that is a small part of a long rotation. Who wants to set the date every time you wear a watch?

As @wagudc its symmetry and the ability to throw it on the wrist without setting a date. I like wearing several watches in my “rotation” and prefer not having to set the date for an 8 hour ride. Truth is, I tend to wear them for about 3 days on average before I switch to something else. Lastly, there seem to be far fewer no-dates than dates and day-dates, so the collector in me gets excited 😉 I browse a lot of watches, but still enjoy seeing what @pIoNeErOfThEnILe stumbles on

Oh the crimson dial...oh my 🥰

Not sure how the colour would go underwater, but as that doesn’t matter I couldn’t resist it!
