How hard is it to get a new two piece stem for a GG ?
I have been put off these because of that weakness, but spotted one with a busted crown side stem for peanuts (not on ebay) and wondered if it’s as hard to find as I think.
I have read that factory parts are NLA to the n’th degree. But considering how many of these things were out there, there must have been generic Besfit parts. Does anyone have an old Besfit catalog?

Nice 34mm stainless Waltham alarm watch. Most alarm watches from this era seem to be pretty pedestrian looking but this one has a really nice black dial with 3/6/12 numerals. I will avoid the hyperbole of the “E” word or “Mil” references, but a classic field dial on an alarm complication is something which we don’t often see. The only other one that comes to mind is the Benrus “Bullitt “alarm watch.

I think the asking is a nice price for a watch like this, but has make offer so may get even better.

Stunning 14kgf Hamilton with sector dial, drop lugs, factory crown, beaded outer track- this watch has it all. Even the engraving on the back is beautifully done. Seller says 34mm so it’s a nice size. Asking is very fair for the quality of this watch, has make offer so may be even less.

Side note- they have crammed an 18mm padded strap into the lugs so it actually looks smaller than it is. With a slim unpadded 16mm strap those drop lugs would pop and the watch head would appear bigger on the wrist

I can't really say whether this is a good value or not at the BIN price, but the seller is accepting offers. I'm not familiar with the reference at all, but it's a cool looking watch, reminiscent of a Dynamic. Seems to be NOS.

Swank was a brand sold by JC Penny department stores (possibly others). Decently made chrome plated watches with inexpensive Swiss (although this one says Germany) movements like FHF or others of the ilk and attractive designs. Nice fun vintage fashion watches at bargain prices (I’ve had a few of there divers). This one is total knock off of a Dynamic at 1/5 the price. The strap is totally brittle by this point so don’t put any value on that.

Nice price on a full kit Sinn 556I with factory H-link. About as classic and utilitarian as it gets- this is a watch for the post-apocalypse.
Price is about $300 off MSRP. Seller doesn’t specify how old it is so not sure if warranty is still in effect. That said, he does say make offer and $1-1.1k would be an even nicer price.

The learnings from this forum coupled with the sellers premium of now 15% makes eBay a really shitty place to have to sell a watch. And I’m ok with that!
