This is so cool, and so rare. It ain't minty, but it is collectible IMO.
It is an auction, no BIN or offer.

Along with the Connie and the Kontiki, this model has one of the coolest caseback medallions, IMHO. Oddly enough, I had (and subsequently sold) a Clebar with the exact same furniture and case.

So....how do we feel about redials? How do we feel about redials that are very nicely done, awhile ago, and fully disclosed, even when questioned if it really is a redial?

I may be wandering down the taboo path, but for $125 and open to offers, this is a nice little wearable piece, and brought to us by our very own @Waltesefalcon....I'd say it's well worth a look!

Someone please snag this before I snag it for my wife!

People who are purists about redials are missing out on some really nice watches. At the right price, go for it!

Good looking mid-1950s dress Tissot for a can't-beat-it BIN of $140:

s-l1600.jpg

https://www.ebay.com/itm/225043035041

This is a US-cased 10k gold-filled dress watch running on Tissot's in-house full-rotor automatic caliber 28.5R-21. It has a signed crown, but it looks a little small to me, so hard to say if that's poor photography or a period replacement. Check the lugs for wear and tear, and there's signs of a slight radium burn on the dial...or maybe that's poor photography yet again. Use those blurry photos to your advantage and make an offer!

This is on a BiN for £380 in the U.K. needs a little attention but looks nice. I haven’t researched these so maybe there’s problem but it’s not an obvious redial. Case not pristine but not awful. A quick image search brought up no dials like this but I believe there are many variations.

Something didn't look right to me. I think it's the Geneva/Dynamic font/size, and the omega logo. Could be that it's a later service dial maybe.

After having bought 17 watches in the first half of 2022, I can't help but feel the watches up for sale lately have dried up, both in quantity and quality. I wonder if you guys feel the same.
