Got that offer too. It’s on the high side for sure but this one is all about condition.

Edit- looking at is closer, looks like it has been rebrushed possibly, back for sure. Not sure if I’m seeing crazing on the crystal or reflection. Lume on hands looks good but lume on dial is a darker and a little ashy. It’s been worn, but not hard.

I have noticed a shift in the last couple weeks in these kinds of divers- like the Helbros and others like it, prices seem to be coming down.

….despite dinky’s best efforts to push chrome plated shit to the top of the market

I don’t either. Good people there, but rent in Hollywood can’t be cheap.

I should have bought the Technos Skydiver they were selling for $795 back in 2015. Dammit.

Should have bought the slate 1972 1603 (my birthyear) with factory jubilee from HQ Milton back in 2019 for $3k….who knew.

Bulova 666 reissue for sale at the lowest price I have seen yet. These usually trade around $3-325 on the used market which is still a deal for what they are, this has make offer at $249. I love that Bulova reissued this watch so faithfully (I owned one), and despite the 3mm increase over the original, it wears smaller than it’s 44mm size would imply due to the UFO case shape.

I wouldn’t care if it has the cheap cardboard box, just make sure the bracelet is long enough if any links have been removed- or wear it on a tropic.

I am currently on holiday.on board the cruise ship is an omega boutique.a seamaster 300m on a black rubber strap €4080! Think I might buy it.

I was looking around the same time, I could never decide which dial colour. Gutted that I didn't pull the trigger. I might go for a Tudor instead.

Not sure if I like the implication of deep sea dive watches being sold on a cruise ship 😲

Just on that watch a above.
It says 17 Rubis on the dial, but the movement says 25 jewels ?
Does that mean something has been changed ?
