This one is lovely!
Ha! I’m fairly certain you were the one who posted it here. It was listed with crappy pictures and crystal was toast. After it received a new crystal I was grinning ear to ear.

So I grabbed this guy last week as we were all talking about military watches (I was feeling left out of the fun of buying).

I don’t have a Waltham A11, only the Elgin A11 and the Bulova Ord watches (and a waltham A17 but that’s a different conflict).
It is the hacking movement, lumed numerals, hands and big pips on the hours (they really wanted this visible at night) but I hadn’t seen this back before.

I looked up the series and it is indeed a pilots watch, and the numbers fly for original (as does the condition of the dial), but the shape of the back is unlike others I’ve seen (slightly curved and not flat). I am assuming earlier- perhaps pre-war? The case is in sensational shape though (may have been rechromed unless it was just crappy casting/finishing underneath) I know my Bulova and Elgin, but I have always been a Waltham spectator. Anyone who knows these please weigh in.

That’s the ABC dude, he’s got more- seems like an endless supply of Bulova.

I think he owes Omega forums for all the referrals we have sent his way in this thread.

Clean and pretty, yes.

But many scars on the edges......

I guess I was focused on the dial. The polished case finish is unforgiving when it comes to dings.

Hi, sharing a pristine, collector grade Omega Constellation 168.016 with box and papers for $2,500 CAD. I think is a fair deal given the condition. It may be something folks here would appreciate.

I am doing my best not to buy this because of my recent Christmas purchases.

Unfortunately only available to Canadian residents and CanWatch.

Lol! I love when we can recognize each-others styles. You always know mine by the mossy mesh table and my PF fliers underneath.

I’m particularly fond of the wrist shot age/gender/ethnicity guessing game. There are some men here with incredibly silky smooth skin.

$275 or best offer on reddit for a really cleanly aged 1960's Timex Military inspired field watch with its original BonKlip bracelet. It's 32mm and hand wound.

I've not read up yet on if this a good price or watch, but immediately drawn to it's nice aesthetic.

That’s the one that started the whole Bargain thread military extravaganza starting here:
