Yeah, it was dead for months- like dead, I couldn’t find anything worth sharing, I was losing hope. Then in the last few weeks it’s like the flood gates opened. I’m sure I’m missing far more than I’m finding.

Same seller as above, Bulova Surf King from 1962.

I own this watch in black.

I want this one to have the pair but dammit!! I’m trying to not spend money! (This is why I list this stuff here, so i won’t buy it).

This one is stunning, in far better shape than they usually come up with original crown and original spiral brushing on the back. These white dials usually get water damaged but this one is stunning with bright yellow lume pips. This is one of the slimmest watches I own and hugs the wrist

The price is actually not bad, I spent $250 on my black one years ago becuase it was in similar condition. An offer at $200 wouldn’t be out if realism.

JW, do you know the diameter? I did ask the seller the same question. Thanks

33mm if I recall. It’s not a big one, I wear it with long sleeves and the size is perfect. Won’t catch on cuffs or look like a tumor wearing a sweater

I made lowball offers on both the slate whale and the Surf king and the seller came back with $175 on the whale and $200 on the Surf king- both very fair prices

So now you know what he will take

It’s been a bizarre week on eBay- like pre-Covid listings and prices. Listings are being bought as fast as they can get listed. I have actually had to delete a few I was posting here when they sold during the time it takes me to list them. Perhaps the yard sales and flew markets have opened back up….just in time for Omicron lockdown.

It has truly been feast or famine for the last year+

And here is another!

Lovely stainless Tissot cushion case, Champaign dial with applied gold hardware and perfect little round lume pips . Best part is the ever so elusive seastar back. Size is nice at 34mm, looks nice in a strap but Tissot bracelets are abundant (just need to find the correct endlink shape) brushing looks intact on case- seller says fully serviced- whatever that means to them- grain of salt. Price is actually very fair at asking BIN considering condition, the gold hardware on stainless case and particularly that back!

Ladies C-shaped stainless Certina DS with razor sharp case, turtle back and lovely blue dial. For the gents- this would be a great his/hers set if you can track down the mens version.
This thing is a nice chunk of 60’s/70’s sports watch. Would look great on a strap, or hunt down the appropriate bracelet- which do pop up on eBay.
@connieseamaster @Syrte @inchpincher - love the turtle!

Enabler central right here 😁

On my watchlist, but I won't be heartbroken if someone else snaps it. I've got some other fish frying at the moment.

But the turtle for under $100 if you make an offer!! I think you need that totally groovy blue Tissot above as well

I have a groovy blue Tissot. And two groovy blue Geneve Dynamics . If the dial wasn't blue (maybe gray, green, purple, etc), I'd probably consider it a bit more seriously

As I said, I have a few Shockmasters, they are awesome watches as long as you stick to the all stainless ones. They vary from 30mm to 34mm, and some are more common than others. There were so many variants you could spend a lifetime just hunting for near perfect examples and still find new ones pop up. Lots of fun hunting for dinner money.
