It seems the 70’s are in full force these days.
Stainless Seiko with an awesome two-fine blue dial and geometric case. Seller doesn’t say bracelet size and doesn’t specify if running but second has moves position in the pics. Finishes look to be intact- this thing will really pop after a clean-up. Has make offer so may be able to get it around $100.

For the ladies, groovy stainless 70’s Seiko Hi-beat. Love the case shape a d curved top brushing (reminds me of the back of an Eames chair). Seller says running and bracelet is full length. The endlinks are peculiar as they look like they are integrated from the top, but Lesley detach and look like standard lugs may be under there.
Regardless, a fun little watch that should clean up with a little elbow grease for less than bagel, coffee and Sunday Times.

Not old, but cool-

Orvis branded flieger with Miyota movement. T on the dial suggests Tritium but may just be for show- don’t think it’s old enough for Tritium (pre 2000). 40mm so not insanely large like some. If you have wanted to try out a flieger style but didn’t want to go whole hog with a Laco/IWC/Stowa, this is an inexpensive way to play.
Cheaper than any flieger homage your can find out there, made for a reputable retailer.

Bargain brag- as much as I like sharing, we all gotta eat.

This popped up with a BIN of $180, seller knew the value was in the bracelet. I offered $125 (a very fair value for a JBC bead and brick as featured on the 666’s).
Bracelet fits (thank goodness) and am totally shocked at how well the watch cleaned up (dial is flawless, a couple of deeper scratches on the crystal that poly couldn’t get but a wet sand will make it perfect).
All stainless Belforte (Benrus) with Swiss movement (not Japanese)…this is awesome

Ladies C-shaped stainless Certina DS with razor sharp case, turtle back and lovely blue dial. For the gents- this would be a great his/hers set if you can track down the mens version.
This thing is a nice chunk of 60’s/70’s sports watch. Would look great on a strap, or hunt down the appropriate bracelet- which do pop up on eBay.
@connieseamaster @Syrte @inchpincher - love the turtle!

Fabulous Lord Elgin tank. Seller says fully “restored” which I don’t know what that means, dial may or may not be original (leaning towards not) but if a redial, it’s been very well done. This is cheap thrills for a very nice looking tank.

Looking at this again, examining the line weights and prefect flourishes on the lower Shockmaster logo

plus the ever so slight spotting on the dial

I am leaning towards original or a very old high quality redial.

If original, this may be the cleanest I have ever seen. For $130, if you have been wanting a tank- the Lord has spoken.

So our EU friends can enjoy the 70’s flair-

Lovely Stainless Tissot with stunning BLUE dial- yes, a blue dial that isn’t fυcked up- with white outer ring, applied indices and puffy bright yellow lume.
What I love about this era for Tissot is how much they played with texture, colors and 3 dimensional elements on the dials. These things play the light like nothing else on earth.
I thought this watch was too good to be true, dial is too perfect ( I see a few specs but look topical- like lume flakes), lume is too perfect (hands are showing a touch of shrinkage), and particularly the case brushing- it looks too perfect, and a touch vague (Tissot brushing was sometimes a little less dynamic than Omega brushing). But upon really scrutinizing- I think it was just barely worn- everything looks sharp (polished bezel has crisp edges)…please, correct me if I am wrong.

Price is actually very fair considering condition….this one is all about condition.

Oh, and it does look good in a strap, but vintage Tissot bracelets are abundant- I would figure out which one went on this and track one down.

That’s a great deal, congrats! Love the bracelet and dial.
