Zodiac Seawolf patina with new crystal ... quite cheap for a seawolf? Hands look too new? Out of place?

Yeah, it would be a hard pass for me- which is a shame as it’s a rarer model with 9kt gold bezel and gilt dial and hands. Would also have come on a 2-tone Holzer style JBC bracelet. When these things are clean they are sharp as shit!

beautiful but man I feel that went too high? Maybe I’ve been out of the Bulova game for a bit but all 3 of mine with 2 including service all in was less than that one.

These are one of my favorite designs of all time- particularly with the scalloped bezel and fancy lugs.

Nice Stainless Luxor chronograph for our friends in the UK. These are usually chrome plated so finding one in stainless is a real bonus. Dial looks nice with some slight corrosion on the indices but lume is still fairly bright (not moldy black) and I love the blue/red outer track. If I didn’t have 2 like this already at the watchmaker, I would be making an offer.

Stainless Vantage (Hamilton) diver. 37mm and these things wear like a dream. Yes, these were $200 not 2 years ago, but that was soooo 2019. Seller says running but movement is loose. I got one like this that the movment tabs hadn’t been bent in properly and it wiggled around. Just a little
Tweak and it was fine. It may be that simple here. Case still has its brushing, and wears a few dings, but is honest.
These things are the ultimate of broad arrow lolipop for under $500. Make an offer at $250US and see if he bites.

Did they put an aftermarket lume pipe in the bezel?
Looks like it, that doesn’t bother me though- you can knock that back out and go commando

Very true. I asked because I knew skin divers of this time the bezels were filled; however, I wasn’t sure if it was a unique quirk/feature that I wasn’t aware of haha. I like it though, too.

Took a punt at $250 and they accepted. My Helbros had a loose movement and it was a super simple fix of tweaking the movement tabs and all was good 👍

I like these Vantage’s and 37mm is a fun size

I got lucky on that one. An “under the influence” eBay grab (I could have shared it here as a bargain- but I’m just that selfish). I hadn’t seen another one with smooth bezel like this one- and it’s a big sucker too at around 36mm
