Here's the Bulova from many pages back. I finally remembered to snap a pic. This little guy is solid.
Nice! Highly underrated brand IMO
One at auction but is worth the share. What a beautiful dial. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224367392043

Love this one, I think it’s worth a try!
This seller is on my watch list, he often has really nice pieces on auction. I got one from him but missed several I was interested in

It’s pretty- bracelet is small (spring clasp is at end of travel on the guys wrist). Agreed with being priced high, but he may take an offer- gotta pay for more ink.

Seller claims it fits up to an 8" wrist. He doesn't seem to have fat wrists, maybe he just has sturdy big bones.

Regardless the crown doesn’t look original to me (seems too big)

Not sure, here is mine (dealer photo) before I had it serviced (and the watchmaker replaced the crown with a generic one). It also seemed big to me, but it's a signed crown and the seller claimed it was all original.

Very pretty blue sunburst seiko on factory rail-track bracelet. This is superb.

Thank you. Now you made me look into Seiko watches. I hope someone else buys this one soon. Or I need to unfollow this thread to safe myself from me 😵‍💫

Absolutely stunning USA made Hamilton in gold filled case. This is sizable at 34mm for its time and as the seller says, the 16mm lugs make the case wear larger (I have a couple like this-it’s true- 34 wears like 36 with the smaller strap size). These don’t come up often in this condition. Seller is well known in the community- has make offer.

There are issues with this watch. It is a redial and not a very good one. Secondly, I don’t think it is much of a bargain at the BIN price, even if dial were original.

Model name is “Rodney”, not Lancaster. The movement was made in Lancaster, PA, which was the HQ for Hamilton.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for pointing this out. This is earlier than the period of Hamilton I know so I was fooled. Plus, the seller I thought was know you be a purveyor of quality pieces, so I “assumed” (yes, there is that word) that he would have disclosed a redial.

BTW, the Hamilton Rodney was one of only a couple of Hamiltons offered with Masonic dial.

The Rodney is also one of the few watches from any manufacturer at that time that came in a left-handed version.
