Yes you do. Make it a habit to look up every vintage watch you see that looks appealing. Find as many comps as you can and you will see similarities - as well as the flaws on ones you may be looking at. In time you will have laser vision looking at any of the watches you love and be able to snatch the good ones up quickly.
Nice of you to say - Good potnt. But difficult to match the expertise and experience here.

Stainless Zodiac Hermetic. Sunburst dial is lovely, lume pips are a touch ashy but all there, case is nice and sharp, has seen minimal polishing in its life. 34mm so a good size. Zodiac’s answer to the Seamaster. Has make offer.

I’ll look forward to hearing what you think of them when they arrive - plus photos 😀

They arrived today, really happy about the Omega, but the Longines has a bent upper right lug, which IMO was not visible on the seller's pics and not mentioned in the description. It said "This is beautiful, clean, and in very good condition.", which is not the case 🙁.
