Stainless ladies Eternamatic. My lady has one of these and it’s a great little watch. Factory crown and should clean up nicely. Would make for a nice his/her pair, has make offer.

Haha, the bargain police @JwRosenthal is quick today!

I didn’t pay much more for it, why not just pass on the little bugger to someone in the community who enjoys it. 😀

Yup- a vendor I have purchased from a few times. Watches tend to be cleaned up for sale but they clearly know what they are doing and don’t go crazy-they sell nice stuff. They stand behind their watches too.

Oh, and I have a pre-Admiral 1200 just like this (same dial at least- mine’s manual wind and stainless)- one of my fav’s with a suit- it’s so slim!

This thread has gotten me interested in several vintage watches, the latest of which is the Eterna Kontiki. I really like the caseback medallion on these, but most of the ones I see on eBay are seriously worn. Then I found this. It's a case only, and it has a fair amount of dings and scratches. The medallion, however, is breathtaking. The individual logs making up the raft, the lines on the roof--it looks like it was never worn. I'm now patiently awaiting another with a nice dial/movement.

I saw that pop up yesterday and was very tempted to buy it for what they were asking- but I don’t have a Kontiki. Glad someone here got it.

Thanks for the post, I had seen that one before and was going to put it through the OF vetting process as I'm chicken scared of Longines redials. But your post and @JwRosenthal 's positive comments on the seller gave me enough confidence to pull the trigger. I ended up paying $350 for the Longines, as I also bought an Omega he was selling. Not sure whether the latter was such a great deal, but $950 in total for an Omega and a Longines, I guess you don't get that every day, so I'm happy. I particularly like the spider lugs of the Longines. Couldn't find those lugs on an Omega for that price.

Edit: Plus, as eBay wouldn't allow him to offer a discount on the shipping, we will just refund me $20. So really a great seller.

I’ll look forward to hearing what you think of them when they arrive - plus photos 😀

I purchased about 3 watches from them over the years and with one had an issue (was not listed as serviced). I told him I wanted the watch but asked if he could fix it. He took it back (he covered shipping) and sent it to his watchmaker who said it needed a full service and probably parts. He offered me a full refund. I told him I really wanted it and was willing to send it to my watchmaker. He offered to spilt the cost of service with me and shipped the watch back to me- that’s customer service!

Absolutely, that’s what most good sellers should do
