I鈥檝e noticed a few of these cosmic 2000s with short hands, not sure if they鈥檙e a poor replacement or original, but they look all wrong to me. Anyway, this one needs some work and has seen a fair amount of life, especially as it鈥檚 been in a drawer for more than half of it, but isn鈥檛 拢300 a decent price for one of these? I鈥檇 have thought so. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-...220134?hash=item3b56327e26:g:J-MAAOSwFh5gFB7q

Well, I thought I鈥檇 have a look and it鈥檚 already sold. I know it needed a repair but that was quick

Since the thread started I have amassed a number of under the radar models esp divers. Zodiac. Bulova. Benrus. Here鈥檚 another. Wearing it today. Baylor. If you hunt hard you could pick one up under $100. AS movement 1951. All Swiss. Chromed case. Screw back. Signed crown. Rotating bezel. Great dial and hand setup. Semi quick set date. Cheap and fun. Here鈥檚 mine. Clean and deep polish of crystal only required - with nos 1970s strap added it looks great.

Baylor were a Texas jewelry chain. They had some good stuff inc branded Heuers. Here鈥檚 one. Too expensive at buy now but open to offers. I don鈥檛 know the seller.

I like the Antarctic Nivada Grenchen watch ... this appears to me to be one. I would ask for measurements as this might be a 33 mm w 16 mm lugs.. i cant tell as no strap is present... I cant judge scale... Just to be clear have no relationship with the seller. Here is an affiliate link:

Sorry - ignore prior post. Thought this was 2998 at first. Looked to quick.

As an FYI, I like some of these higher priced options. The last 2998 you posted here was a really good deal.
