That didn’t last long
Yep. The Pogue doesn't do it for me but that was very nice deal. Those pictures made it look worse than it probably is.

Anyone collect old military style. I’m afraid I can’t work out how to post a Chrono24 link

I can't decide whether it's a relume or not ...

Can’t help you but a comparatively inexpensive gamble.

That rotor looks like it’s been through war

Wow, I guess I didn't scroll through to the last photo. The outside looks so clean and new. Looks like mildew. Perhaps a gasket turned to black dust and got spilled all over the inside. A service would be a must.

Yeah, because of this, I did not expect the movement to be in that condition. Hopefully it is superficial so that after a service, this would look new inside and out.

1969 Benrus military watch- 2 years ago I would have thought this guy was day-dreaming at $295 but it actually sounds fairly reasonable these days. Needs a crystal and probably a service but the lume is excellent which is uncommon on most of them. Make an offer- the asking isn’t actually bad considering the reissues go for this much lately.

If corroded perhaps its a used replacement. The rest of the movement looks fine.

What's with the numerals on the dial? The 10 and 8 seem to be correct, but the I is at the 2 position and the 4 position has III. Is this some strange numeral system I haven't heard of?

The II is partially covered by the minute hand. And there are four sticks in the 4.
