Any guesses on the origin of the bracelet? Or original?
The slightly visible “STAINL” looks like the 70’s era Hong Kong bracelets- some were very well made. Length would be my only concern.

C-case stainless Connie on bricks bracelet(color balance sucks- it’s stainless/silver dial), signed crystal, crown looks original- this looks good- get it fast. It ain’t gonna last!

The Bulova that we all love- scalloped bezel, stainless cased sunray black dial with bright yellow lume pips- this is about as good as they get. We usually see these trashed- this one is nice. Smallish at 31mm so be forewarned- seller has make offer

Somone want to take a crack at who made this? Stainless octagonal case, flatlink bracelet, eta 2780 movement- no name on dial, case, or movement ....hmm. Looks like they were channeling a bit of zenith and Tissot here. Price is nice for what it is which is a nicely done 70’s watch with good quality parts.

"Crunching after a couple winds" "Day/Date Does not set"...is $150 a reasonable guestimate of repair? Guessing a mainspring, along with whatever is needed to solve the day/date issue.

I want a Connie, but a bit timid to dive in to this pool for fear of a broken vertebrae!

I did talk to the seller of the above Waltham and he’s really nice. We ended up talking for quite a bit and he has an interesting collection, though one he doesn’t know a whole lot about. For some reason this watch really intrigued me, so I asked him about the dial and if it was browning and if said t Swiss t at the bottom.

Initially he thought the browning was just shadows but confirmed the presence of “t”’s at the bottom. He didn’t know what they meant, so I filled him in. Earlier this morning he sent me pictures of the watch in day light and said “I genuinely thought the dark spots were shadows but I guess you were right. It is browning.” It’s minimal, but it’s there. Just wanted to share for anyone interested in it.

Hey its a vintage watch. If it gets a lot worse in the next 75 years it might become an issue.
A beautiful watch as is.

Very reminiscent of the Certina C-Tronic or Certronic models of the 70's. I like that, with a nicer dial I'd have been tempted(well maybe not as they don't post to the UK).

The C-Case Connie is a great deal, no post to the UK though sadly for me.

If you don’t have a watchmaker with a parts account lined up, I would pass. For someone who has their vintage watches serviced when they get them anyway- it would be a nice buy.
Bracelet is worth half what he is asking- provided its long enough.

Benrus jump hour- these are such cool watches and not tiny at almost 34mm. Seller says all original- and it looks like it to me. Price is a little high but condition, condition, condition. Has make offer.

Stainless 1970 Omega Geneve. These have climbed in value over the last couple years following their Seamaster brothers which have gotten stupid for price. This is all there, in very good shape, and seller says serviced (show me the paperwork). If indeed serviced with proof- this is a good value for sure. If not actually serviced, still not a bad deal considering condition. Can’t see enough of the straps to validate authenticity but who cares- they would be a bonus if they are real. Has make offer- may score a deal here if you are looking for a cheap way into classic Omega.

Oh- and if we are going to niggle the little things on a $550 Omega- pics suck- not a sharp one in the bunch. Can’t verify if box is original, but it is the right period. Can’t see if crystal is signed, but we can hope it is. No clear shot of the crown but is has the right shape. Case has undoubtedly been polished but I can see edges (not a blob). No case back shot but they were plain anyway. Movement looks clean and the whole watch checks out against others of the reference including the placement of the SWISS MADE which I’m sure will raise a few eyebrows. Yes, they put it above the second track on a few later models- the Dynamics of the early 70’s come to mind which are the same period as this one.

That’s exactly what I told him too. I said it’s just the nature of a vintage piece, which this one is in beautiful condition with a sharp dial, as is! He said he was going to try to clean it and I strongly pleaded with him not to.

Very pretty chrome plated Nivada with stunning blue dial. This isn’t a high end watch but it’s very pretty and in good shape. Seller says serviced and sent me an unsolicited offer so should be ripe for a deal.

Anyone wanna take a punt? Pictures were taken from across the room seems like. Looks like the hands have been relumed. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274584043470
Nice! It looks like it has been relumed but otherwise may be decent. I would ask for a closer picture lol
