Same seller as above, totally different watch. This is not my norm, but this is just so 70’s and I do love archetypes. 70’s root-beer fade Wittnauer with gold bezel...I am just speechless. Integrated stainless bracelet but seller says it’s 8+ inches so plenty of length and links can be removed. If you are looking for a quintessential example of style from each decade- you would be hard pressed to do better than this for the 70’s....other than a two-tone rootbeer GMT...and this ain’t that! https://www.ebay.com/itm/143744465458Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Gruen bumper. Looks good but correct me if I'm wrong. https://www.ebay.com/itm/203176879570Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Yup- that’s a good one. Dial is better than 90% of the ones we see and love the red second hand. Not running so expect a service- the 460SS movement was used in several models so parts watches are easy to get if needed.
Help a fellow OF member out this is a great deal in my opinion for a nice eterna. https://omegaforums.net/threads/eterna-matic-1950s-reduced.119414/#post-1644134
FANCYFANCYFANCYFANCYFANCY Everything about this watch is waaaay over the top- where do we begin??? 1959 Bulova, scalloped GP case, scrolled lugs, sector dial with incredibly stunning pinkish/orange creamsicle radium lume (my favorite vintage radium lume color usually seen on pre-war watches). Case shows minor plate wear and some slight speckles on the dial- but man, is this pretty! The price is very ambitious, but this is a stunner- he may take a lower offer. https://www.ebay.com/itm/203177182845Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Sorry @arturo7...I snagged that one! I didn't lowball too much at 120, figuring if asking price seemed fair, I'd have a better chance if I only shaved a little off asking. Thanks for the tip @JwRosenthal!
That’s a nice value. Not a steal, but those are getting very hard to find. ....and frankly I thought it was a good value at asking- good to get a few bucks off
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then- I get lucky sometimes. There have been a few here I have agonized over- then I just post it and walk away and hope one of you all spare me the burden of rescuing it. On more than one occasion I have read what someone offered and had accepted- then I kick myself. But I always remember, I had my chance and decided to pass it along...that’s what we do- share with friends and rejoice in their success.
Hamilton Fontainebleau B, this is a cool ass watch! This is part of the FB line and looks totally correct- all brushing looks intact, lines are razor sharp, faceted crystal and space age H crown intact- and gotta love that case back. This is high mid-century style at its best. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184532057520Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
