Recommend someone to service my vintage Omega Constellation

Hello

I have a mid-1950s Omega Constellation. I recently dropped it, and now it loses around a minute day, and the winding has become a little stiff.

I'd like to send it to an expert to get serviced.

I had been talking to @stefan and he was my first choice, but he hasn't been on the website for about a month, so I'm not comfortable sending it to him right now just in case there's a personal matter/etc. which is making him unavailable.

Can you please recommend someone to me? Worldwide is OK.

I'm in Hong Kong. There are no decent watch repairers here.

Thanks.

I have sent vintage Speedmasters and Constellations to STS and more recently Simon Freese in the UK. I would recommend both.

If worldwide is ok I'd send to Al @Archer who is a watchmaker on this forums. Service all my watches and you can't go wrong. He's located in Canada. He does have a wait list so keep that in mind but don't let that make you look elsewhere.

Cheers

Hi,
Would you be able to share your watchmaker contact in Texas who services your Constellations? I've been trying to find someone in my local area and have not had any luck this far.
Much appreciated.

@krogerfoot, can you recommend a watchmaker nearer to Hong Kong?

I hope he has it sorted by now, six years later.

🤦

(Unless he sent it to Gallet Service Department...)
