    Hi all,
As per the title I'm hoping someone might be able to reccomend a good watchmaker in London UK to service my vintage Omega. It hasn't be used in 40ish years. I wound it up and it works fine but on another thread some good people have suggested I get it serviced before using it long term. I've also been told not an official Omega watchmaker as they'll do much to it what with over polishing it etc.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
    P.

Thanks Standy, JwRosenthal also suggested him on another thread so that's 2 good votes for Freeze.

If you do a site search, you’ll find far more than that. Make sure you spell his name correctly, should you do a search.

Not that near to London but https://cjnwatch.co.uk

I can highly them, excellent service. Constantly keeps you updated with the progress of the service and gives an incredibly detailed report of your watch.

Thanks guys, I'll be checking all the suggestions over the weekend. Really looking forward to getting it up and running properly, and then a new strap.

Thanks, I never knew that. For some reason I had Cumbria in my head. Thanks for clarifying.

    Another vote for Simon F.

I can't imagine a better watchmaker and wouldn't use anyone else.

Simon Freese. Nice run out to Essex. He was recommended to me for my vintage Speedmaster. I wouldn't take it anywhere else.
