If I am reading it correctly, the date on the guarantee is 1960? Any pictures of the movement?

I think is a mistake, should be 1970. Is in the watchmaker now for open and check, in a few days more I will have some pictures of the movement.

Movement serial according to the guarantee paperwork is 29.604.5xx
Hopefully the actual movement serial matches. Otherwise watch looks like a nice transitional 861 speedmaster.

Should a transitional not have applied logo, or........?

Looks good. My '69 has a 2911xxxx serial with a 1039 bracelet, DoN bezel and pre-moon case back so if the movement matches the paperwork, all looks grand.

Yup. I can't see the pics too well to comment on condition as I'm on my phone, but yes, mine is original (my hands may have been replaced but they're the correct type for this model) and yours is the same with a slightly higher serial. Given the apparent patina on yours, I'd suggest that it's original.

My opinion is that there are 3 transitional models - the earliest with the applied logo (transition to new movement) then the dial with printed logo (transition to new dial) and then the one with the new bezel (transition to new bezel).

OK - thanks 👍

And to further complicate matters, there are three variations of caseback with the new bezel (the hippocampus followed by two variations of the "straight text" caseback; one which explicitly mentions Apollo XI - rare - and one which doesn't - uncommon) before we hit the modern configuration in late 1971.

...and then the one with the new bezel (transition to new bezel).

Everything seems perfectly correct as a 145.022-69 from early 1970...except the date on the sale papers (1960). Serial is ok for 1970

Thanks, the owner told me that was a mistake in the jewerly when he bought, anyway the serial number of the movement match with the warranty card.
