Could you please share additional photos? The highest quality you can manage would be ideal—covering all angles, and including one of the movement if possible.

Apologies - I’ll try and get something back although my photographic equipment is a bit limited.

No need to apologize.

Camera phones are usually able to take a good enough photo. When I said high quality I meant as clear as possible.

These "Hidden Crown", Constellation's are very nice. A bitch to wind, though.

Appears to not be a redial👍 and has original crown👍

Not seeing any obvious problems, but without more photos, and some context for your post, there's not much we can say.

Sorry for the delay - after noticing some scratches on the case back I thought I had better get a decent case back opener. Needless to say the case back was finger tight. Photos added. What is the best way of winding as the hidden crown presents a few issues.

Nice catch @spxleisure - a pretty early 168.004, possibly even from the first year of production.
Really nice case and the dome dial is pretty good too.
I do like a nice hidden-crown Constellation.

The movt and case back are showing signs of rotor rub, also there doesn't appear to be any caseback gasket - so worthwhile considering a service sooner rather than later.

Regarding winding - the hidden crowns look great but are a PITA and the only way to wind them is with the side of your index finger.
This does rather chew up the side of your index finger but if you give it a few turns and then wear the watch, it will soon wind itself.

Thank you for the info - a service is on the list. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the movement and all in all chuffed with the purchase.
