Hello everyone,

I've received my first vintage Omega. A gold capped Constellation 168.018 Here is a photo album :

As you can see it needs some TLC, as the mouvement and case look fairly dirty, there is definitely sign of major rotor rub and the glass will need replacing as well as the crown (not compulsary but a "nice to have"). With that being said the watch runs, winds, quick date works flawlessly (love how it's set by the way) which is a good sign.

Luckily enough in my city there are various reputable watchmakers with one being officially certified by Omega and came with high reviews on french forums for various years now. He's taking a look at the watch tomorrow to quote the service on it.

Will make sure to update as the life cycle of this watch continues at the hand of its new owner.

Thanks for all the help,
Cheers

Very nice looking watch. As you say, a service, new crystal and some TLC will make a big improvement. Make sure you post some 'after' pictures.
