Really, really want this watch...

I’ve tried on the larger pelagos and didn’t think it was particularly large on my 7” wrist. So this model puzzles me. In some sense, it just strikes me as a yet another black diver….I need to see it in person….

The sun burst was a step back, the size and thickness really step forward, but this is still the best Tudor diver..
Goodness… between you and @KeithS you both are really making me reconsider my “I don’t need a third blue/blue watch” thought.

And ?? Completly different topic ! Pls. Do Not Hijack . Start your own thread with this example, that has nothing to do with the discussion.

Terribly sorry to upset you considering the post previous to this one contained a blue Tudor BB

Ironic considering this entire thread is in the wrong section to begin with.

Who gives a flying fυck?
Jeez, some real obnoxious twats on here, it's certainly not a friendly forum, I was just making discussion initially. Hope you all enjoy your bitching, I'm outa here.
Tara.

Wow lol. I just found the previous two bickering over the blue tudor going off topic ironic. I didn't really care this thread was in the wrong section.

Nice attitude.

I was busting balls with them, thought the emoji conveyed that. Their reply back was telling, but I was like 'meh.' Now, I'm like 'lol, meh.'

Convo is still in the wrong forum (mods, looking at you now). 😝

On topic, the new design is still butt.

Agreed, size and offtopic-ness aside, I'm not a fan of the black dial on this one.
Something about it makes it come across as cheap. They should have just kept it a flat black or give it some sort of matte texture.
I would pick either the FXD or the previous gen blue pelagos over this one, but I get the appeal of a 39mm watch for some.

I don't know, but for me the Whole Tudor line seems to be to appeal to wannabe Rolex owners, this particular model strikes me as a Submariner homage with (IMHO) a truly ugly hour hand. That distinctive Tudor hour hand is what keeps me away from the entire line. I briefly had one of the latest Omega Seamaster Pros and ultimately decided that the hands were just not appealing to me and bought a new Speedmaster Sapphire sandwich 3861, which I have worn daily for a year and a half, the attraction continues. If I wanted an attractive daily sports/tool watch, I really find the Rolex Polar Explorer II checks all the boxes for me. Just can't justify the 2-3year wait for a new one at about $9K retail or the $10-12K for a decent serviced used one that is pushing 20 yrs old. I guess watches are very personal, , either you find them instantly appealing or not, some grow on you, others less so. I used to absolutely lust over a Daytona Cosmograph, now, not so much, now find it too fussy looking and prefer the simplicity, elegance and classic looks of the Speedmaster. Sometimes it takes time to sort out what checks all the boxes for you. Someone once said "The most expensive watch you'll ever buy is the one you hought INSTEAD of the one you really wanted" Very true.

Don't fret my friend. Just respond to the ones with positive input and ignore what doesn't apply to you. This is a wonderful community and we hope you stick around to contribute. Tudor new releases have been a bit low supply but give it a few more months and check out some more pieces in the mean time. I'm sure by the time this becomes more available you will have found a better suited watch or eventually pick this one up.

This!

If everyone liked the same thing, the world of watches would be small & boring

Considering we don’t have a dedicated Bulova thread (I will die on that hill) I’m just gonna post this one here- in the wrong thread, on the wrong sub-forum.

World time bezels- artifacts of another time.

There is always another Tudor coming.

I would be happy ab out a BB58 with black dial and white lumen. Not the guilt model or the blue one.

that would get people off their seats

it’s surely coming at some point soon
