I happen to think 80's style is (unfortunately) making a comeback, I would not be surprised if the watches did too.

For a young guy just getting into this it's interesting to hear what people are doing/thinking about doing decades after they took the plunge. I hope my (future) children will appreciate what I've amassed but I hear the sentiments of not passing too much wealth to them without it being earned. I'd rather have them each choose their favorite earlier on and then pass the rest on to the community through an OF sale to benefit a charity. All in all, I'd like to have everything I collect move on to people who will continue to wear and enjoy them as much as I do. Hopefully I have a good number of decades left though!

I feel its best to give items to whoever I choose WHILE I AM ALIVE ! This way I get to see them enjoy my gift.
When I see my sister wearing that Concord, I am happy to see her enjoying it ... something I was not doing.

1) Piaget is NO WHERE NEAR the same level as Patek.

2) Battery powered computer chips inside gold cases with gold bracelets are essentially jewelry, and old jewelry is worth scrap value.
