Hi all, I recently got this from a reputable eBay seller. I was looking at it a bit more closely and noticed something seemed off.

Does the Omega logo under the 12 o’clock index look sloppy/misshapen/uneven? Also is the “OMEGA” text too think?

This came with eBay’s authenticity guarantee but the authentication was in Japan where the seller was. It didn’t get authenticated in Ohio. Thankfully returns are accepted if it comes to that.

I appreciate your insight and suggestions! Thank you!

The last photo is from the original listing…

It looks fine to me. Of course, I am no expert.

There used to be an old saying on the Rolex forum - never use a loupe. Any watch will have some kind of defect if you look closely enough.

The white balance on the first photo is crazy. I thought it was full gold for a moment.

Hey, can I piggyback on this please. I have two goldeneye watches, one from eBay Japan with the omega world “costco” mark on the caseback and one bought locally with no mark. I thought all quartz 2541.80 were before the watermark… late 1990 production, but watermarks were early 2000’s is this true?

They made the model until 2006 so some will have it.

Also the stamped numbers are in a different place on the endlinks? Is this normal?
