Re:Servicing of OMEGA cal 30 sub

Dear members,

This is my first post on OMEGA forum.

I have this OMEGA whose power reserve is only between about 8 to 12 hours after given a 40 turns on the crown.

The MAIN SPRING was recently replaced but to no avail.

The barrel-arbor-spring code 1200-1204-1208) bought from Ebay was used.

Not sure whats when wrong (suspect that the wheels may not match (the replacement barrel does not match the wheel when was first fitted !!)

Not sure for now what should proceed next, can fellow members advice wahts nest ??

You need a competemt watchmaker. Changing the mainspring alone without servicing the movement will gain you approximately nothing.

You only have half the code, by the way, so you likely don't have the right mainspring anyways.

Were all the parts packaged?

Arbor is available in a large number of movements. Barrel from 11 movements and mainspring for 7 movements

Mainspring listed as 1.45-.115-360 13.5
