"My grandfather just gave me this watch and I would like to have it serviced and looking new. I don't know why it does not have a dial. I got it that way. Can you put a dial on it?"

I was given a Rolex OP Date 15053 in 1988 by my parents for graduating from university. I wore it daily for years and had it serviced a couple of times. In 2011 I had the dial changed from champagne to black as it was becoming difficult to read it. I was never thrilled with the black dialed version for some reason and I regretted my decision to change the dial.
About a month ago, I decided I would have the watch serviced, the dial replaced again and get a new bracelet for it. I took it to Rolex Canada and they sent it back to me today. I’m very pleased with the results. To me, the watch has never looked better. Here are a couple of photos. One before and a few “afters”.

Would you know what the exact part number is for your blue dial?

Would you know what the exact part number is for your blue dial?
I just checked the invoice and just says blue dial. I googled the model number of my watch and searched the images. I did a screen shot of what I wanted and took that with me to the RSC in Toronto to show them what I wanted. If you send me your email by private message, I can send you the larger sized photos if you want to use them. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Thanks for checking! I have a good picture of the dial, but I'll to try to source it from somewhere other than RSC first. I thought having a part number might help.
