Rattle on Seamaster 300

Hi - I have had my Seamaster 300 for about 3 years now and it's keeping great time etc. No problems. But I noticed it has a rattle. I can't see any bits through the exhibition back rolling around. It rattles when you rock it from side to side but not front to back so I am wondering if it is the helium valve and something moving about inside? Would be grateful for any reassurance.

Thanks / best
Glenn

Why don’t you have a watchmaker look at it. We would only be guessing what’s wrong.

Thanks. If it's normal, then any one else's seamster would also rattle when tilted from side to side.

You will need to be more specific about the source of the sound. Is it the rotor?

Mine is the 8800. I have watched the video - thanks Scooterino36. I don't think it is the rotor - it's only side to side and not front to back / up and down / 12 to 6. It feels literally like a little plug is sliding up and down a small tube.

Perhaps it is a ball bearing -I'm not sure if the rotor bearings can slide laterally or whether they have freedom of movement in 360 degrees (in which case you would hear it possibly when tilting at any angle). if that makes sense.
