The dial for the WG model is available as a spare part - no exchange required. Just to clarify, it's not actually a white gold dial though - at least not based on the price - same price as a regular Speedmaster black dial.

Cheers, Al

You are aware that in the early 80's Omega offered this type of dial on Speedy's right?

A pal of mine has an original example from new with box and papers, so the dial might be correct but obv the hands are not
You are saying omega offered this type of dial on new steel speedy's? I was not aware of that

That explains a lot. Thanks.

Calling it a white gold dial not silvered dial is based on a few thing written about it.

Yes correct. Hardly anybody went for it which makes it quite rare. My pal did. I have pic somewhere .

Hmm did not know that as it doesn't show up in the few articles about white dialed speedies.

It was offered as a dial swap at factory iirc. ADs never really offered it so not many come up for sale. I saw one a while back on eBay but it never sold and was removed, I couldn't tell you if it was a legit one.

Still has the same reference no i might add.

I think the confusion comes from the model of Speedy Pro that dial initally came with was white gold, while the dial itself was rhodium plated. See this post on WuS for more info:

Seen a few others here and there fitted with this dial, although this and the other all white/silver models are nowhere near as prevalent / popular as the various panda and reverse panda configs.

Thank you very much. I'm looking for 3570.31 Panda Professional Mitsukoshi.
In Italy, where I live no one knows it.
I saw one few months ago sold in Japan, it's very difficult find it.
If you have some information about it please let me know.
Thanks again

Max,

Only 300 made. Buying one without box and papers is a simple NO. The Mitsy and Japan 2004 LE are prob the most dial swapped speedys you will see.

"Good things come to those who wait" sprigs to mind.

Warranty card also needs to be dated from the Mitsukoshi Dept store ONLY!
