the 809 endlinks are special made for the 376.0822 and they are reworked 808 endlinks.

Exactly, the typical dark red box from the 80ies (seen with 345.0809 Moonphase sometimes with a lighter red color) and papers stamped and dated 'Natale 88' (Christmas 1988) - According to the Omega Extract watch delivered to Italy in 1987.

The 808 end-links I have them on the 1447 bracelet delivered with the 345.0808 20-years Flight qualified numbered LE from 1985.
Ok this is the burgundy velvet with the gold omega interior the same as was with the speedy moon which is authentic as we know but

I with respect think you might have transposed the numbers for the links because as you rightly point out the 345.0808 did come with the quite rare 1447 as did the 345.0809 speedy moon but that bracelet came connected to the watch by 805 not the 808 end links in both cases .[excuse the pun]
Whereas if the 1450 was the bracelet supplied for both those watches the 808 link should have been used

In any event I and I am sure the forum would love to see the full set , given that the watch is in such fine condition ,and if I can be indulged a movement number as well ,as I have a number of delivery dates in 1987 and this helps to coordinate the research

And well done on the 345.0808 great find ..limited to a 1000 with the copper beryllium plated movement as I recall ...two variations which one did you snag ? And did you complete the set with the speedy moon ...?

I am fortunate in my research as I have seen over 60 Watches and looked at extracts or movement numbers in excess of 80 so I have a slightly better picture than most collectors and have thus decided to do a small free guide on the net to hopefully steer the less well informed round the none authentic pieces

No better place to do that guide than here 😉

Would be delighted to release it on the forum if I knew how

will post a link once it’s availble and will be delighted for the forum to critique it
It will cover the 3 bracelets the 4 end links
The crystals multiple
The cases multiple
The multiple hour/minute hands
the multiple chronohands
The 4 dials
The movement
The crown and pushers
The 3 bezels

The misrepresentations in the leading reference books And some strange but interesting anomalies

What I'm gathering from this discussion is that there seems to be a growing consensus for the most common configurations for the 376.0822. However, I do not believe that certain outlier examples were NOT factory original pieces. For instance, I have handled more than one example WITHOUT a dot right of 70 bezel that were indeed never-been-altered original factory pieces. I have yet to see conclusive evidence deeming my dial in my OP as a non-factory-original (non-service) dial. As far as I have seen in this thread, I am the only individual to own these extremely rare "non-wedge" 10-intact 376.0822 dials.

Both Greg Rossier and I carried out independent research and the number of type 2 bezels

I did a 60 Watch sampling which both produced an approx 75% compliance Greg was similar
Of my sample of 14 Watches with type 4 bezels 8 clearly had service hands and two of the balance of 6 which I could examine had service marks....the watch can run for upto 7 years without service and by the time the late service models were sent in the type 2 bezel was long gone and not produced hence the type 4 was used .....not a specially created service part ...just what was availble at the time to replace scratched or damage type 2 bezels

On the balance of probabilities type 2 was most likely the only authentic original produced and used ,the later were service replacement parts

Your dials are unusual and so are copies I have seen from the Far East and redials from Italy

please send a photo of them as fitted to a watch and a back view as well as the diameter of the feet and their length and I will do my best to have them authenticated by the museum
Best wishe
