Ranchero quality check

Hi,

Highly appreciate some secondhand input on the quality of this 1958(?) Ranchero 2996-1 cal 285, listed at ~5k EUR.

I'm not the sharpest on this specific issue, but crown could be original, hands as well, case is polished, but not sure about dial authenticity.

Thoughts?

Hour and minute hands appear to be generic replacements, second hand could be original but shows oxidation, dial not original and has been relumed, case is polished, crown is correct but may be a modern replacement. I would pass.

Since we are on the subject what do y’all think of this one? At some point it got a painted seconds hand and the minute hand has a more narrow lume strip.

You can tell the dial printing isn't as sharp as it should be for an original. I recall at some point an ebay seller was selling Ranchero dials that were clearly fake/aftermarket

Thanks guys, appreciate the quick feedback. If the dial had a chance of being original it would've been interesting, but is definitely a pass now.
