Ranchero 2990-1

Hi guys,

This Ranchero 2990 is up for auction and wondering if anyone could comment on the condition/authenticity?

I'm guessing other members may already be watching this one.

Photos in the listing are average, but the hand patina looks gunky, however they are broad arrow (which I think is correct?). The dial lume looks nice, but would be interesting to see without the crystal and nice and clear!



I don't know much about Rancheros but could add one to collection at the right price.

Hey Ed. From the reading I've done lately, I think the dial and H/M hands are correct. I've read that the second hand should be painted white, so that may be a replacement. I think the crown is probably also a replacement.

seconds hand is replaced and wrong style, crown is also replaced, the caseback had originally a circular brushing. thats all. after a cleanup and a new crystal i think i could turn out as a good one, which u can enjoy as a daily companion.
