not soon, I`m afraid. unless you want to wait till the end of the year and buy at auction. I might be forced by the family court for a divorce settlement to sell everything incl. railmaster normal with orig. band, railamster "seamaster PAF" military, railmaster "flightmaster FAP" military and prototype white dial railmaster for Canada. we will see. and many other very rare omegas as well..... basically findings from the last 20 years. kind regards. achim

Where might the auction be Achim?

I'll take the Canada prototype!

(sorry watchuwant, no disrespect intended. I don't envy your situation and hope it works out on the ok side for you. Maybe your auction could be an OF exclusive)

Achim,
Don't know what the court would mandate but you might end consider a private sale. If auctions then Christies is probably the place to go for some of your pieces.

rgd. the to - be - court - ordered auction: unfortunately it will be decided by the courts. and they have no idea about best auction house or not.... we talk about family court. christies and Sotheby`s ( my ex-wifes choice, because I favoured christies.....just for the opposition of things...) will cherry pick watches. we should know by mid april. private sales would be the best thing; I have many email addresses from collectors over the years, who wait for a few of these special watches . but that will not happen, I`m afraid. the not cherry picked ( whatever the are) watches will have to go to other form of auctions, but that will be hard to agree on. there is a deep mistrust because of my knowledge of these 64 watches from the other side. auctionata, which is on chrono 24 as well and other platforms, is one idea. normal auction houses will be not so keen, once the cherry picked watches are auctioned. my thought was bonhams or fellow`s in the UK. these answers are many months off. I will you keep updated and will try, to tell every interested party, where and when the auctions will be. kind regards. achim

Yes - I am sorry Achim and hope that you will find a way to keep the watches that are most important to you, even if you have to disperse much of your collection.

So you'll need some friends and a fake auction to help you keeping these pieces....

The lawyer of Achim's ex-wife is probably reading this thread...

Regarding the 2914 1, what is the gap on the bezel at 3? Is that normal or something to be concerned about?

The plexi is not original and not as thick at the base so the reflector ring has more area to open up.
Hope that makes sence.

I went for it right at the end but someone squeaked it out.
