Questions on Omega Speedmaster 1989

I recently purchased a 1989 Speedmaster and have some questions which I hope members here can help to provide some insight.

1. The reverse/inside of the casebook shows the number ST 145022. However, the original hangtag shows ST. 1450022. Is this normal?

2. The hesalite crystal has the Omega in the center. Is this correct for the vintage year? Is this is replacement crystal?

I tried searching on the forum for answers but could not find much info, hence decided to start a thread.

Many thanks in advance.

1. Sometime in the 80s, Omega switched their numbering system from, for example, 145.022 to 145.0022 (with an extra 0). Being frugal, they used up all the old stamped casebacks. So your watch is pretty typical.

2. all hesalite crystals have the Omega symbol — original and replacement. So it is correct. You would not be able to tell if it is original or replacement.
