Hello

What is thickness of Spring Bars for Constellation Reference 168.018
I need 19mm size, but what thickness
Modern watches use 1.8, but for vintage is 1.5?
I not sure because of model for this open topic…
My production of watch is 1971

if your watch have a strap, then it is better to have thicker spring bar. Don't know about metal bracelets, I'd use whatever fits.

I don't think that there is a specific thickness for a given reference. Springbars are pieces that are often replaced when getting a watch serviced for instance. I tend to get 1.8mm if it is for a strap just for a more robust feeling. If you have a beads of rice bracelet, get the thickest springbars which fit.

Leather strap 19mm Buckle 14mm
In this moment need buckle for this strap and not change to now
I not sure what spring bars will be found If you remove old strap
Thinking for replace with new one

In theory you can use every springbar that fit for 19mm straps.
After install there is a chance for noises while wearing in that case change to thicker ones.

In fact there is no such thing like "the perfect springbar" for a specific watch case with a few very expensive exceptions like Breitling B01.
It`s a matter of thicknes of the springbar and the thicknes and form of the pins at the end of the springbar.
In the end you have to figure it out on your own by trial and error but most of the time the standards will work.
