Question on a L serial Rolex 16610

Hi guys I recently chance upon a 1989 L serial Rolex 16610 but wold like some opinion and comments on this one. I notice the wording on the L is pointed up but hardly see any model of the same. Advises and comments appreciated. Seller wants 7k. Thanks.

Looks fine. HQ milton is one of the best reference websites for me because they keep their entire sold watch archive with high quality photos. Just do a quick search on the watches in the L series region and you'll see a few that have the same typography.

Thanks just want to check whether it’s a period correct dial for L serial.
