Question about Omega Speed Master Reduce

I bought this one privately, in 1990. The guy had bought it in Germany while on honeymoon. Got into financial trouble from being deep in debt after his wife became ill, and they both lost their jobs. It came with no box or papers, so I suspect he sort of “smuggled” it back into Canada. His loss is my gain. An identical one (on a strap) appeared on the OB some time back, and another that was very much like it, as well. Mine came with a cheesy Omega strap that was too small for me, and besides, it was U G L Y! So, since no rose gold and steel bracelet was available, and yellow gold and steel was out of the question, I put a steel Omega bracelet on it. I believe this rose gold and steel model was for Europe, only, and made for only a short time.

Such an incredible story you had. And now its with you looking good with a stainless steel bracelet! Good Job! Just a suggestion get an Omega Rose Gold Buckle and get a hand made leather strap from someone who is very skilled in making one and you'll enjoy it more too!

Very nice is this the Omega Speedmaster Reduced Racing?

It's a Schumacher limited edition with the racing dial. I really enjoy wearing it as the dial is gorgeous. There are some vintage Speedy Pros with a similar dial but they go for big money.

Also I didn't have a problem getting it serviced and it runs great.

As I am waiting to get the Speedmaster 863 currently I am wearing this lovely not so rare piece. Omega Dynamic Geneve.

It looks awesome and great for daily wear too. Is it rarer than those Schumacher limited edition colored dial (yellow, red, blue)?

I think they are less common. There were 6000 made.

How many of the Dynamic with gold shell case were made? Mine is the only gold shell Dynamic I have ever seen.

Mine is a limited edition and the total produced is written on the caseback. If your watch is not a limited edition then it's hard to say how many were produced.

Nope actually it was announced around Nov 2010. And made for less then 2 years or so.

It bridges the gap between the Speedmaster dates and Speedmaster racing’s.

Everyone! Finally I got a SpeedMaster Reduce Reverse Panda. My dad brought this as my birthday present but he gave me a month late (which is today). It was a great surprise.

Next goal Speedmaster Professional 863!

Now I would say I understand the difference. I already have tried my Dad Speedmaster Pro. Its much bigger comparing to the size and looks much classic. But I am fine with this 24th Birthday present as a Omega Speedmaster Reverse Panda!!
