You should definitively go for a Pro, when you know the differences between the two you will notice at every glance.
First being the spacing of the subdials, looks a bit strange on the reduced compared to the pro.
Second is the crown and pusher alignment, staggered on the reduced and in a straight line on the pro.
And the pro has a caliber that you have to wind every day, the way I like it.
And I guess you have read up on the history of the pro?

I could not believe this in the first place either. I ended up buying the Reduced and later on the Professional. The Pro has so much more history and is way more interesting than the Reduced (imho). The Reduced almost gets almost no wrist time.

Yes! I have look up on the history of the pro already and its plus there are the 1863 and 1861 which I love the 1863 more the movement is visible. Moreover, I have known that the Pro has larger case size and the lug size is 20 comparing to the reduce smaller size case & 18 lug size.

How does it feel when you owned both? Pro is way way better?

I think you should try and get a Pro, more expensive but what you really want.
And while you save up you can spend the time researching which model is perfect for you, so you really get what you want.

As I said before. I am just not wearing the Reduced. I will try it with the following analogy. What car would you drive most? A Land Rover with manual shift from the 60ties or a Volkwagen from the 90ties? I think a Land Rover is more interesting. 😉

I will share a pic to make the decision more easy 😀

Thank you! That is just right. Pro is just the perfect choice for a long term. Seeing these 2 together showed me that Pro is totally stunning. Just like a Father (Pro) and a son (reduce) hehe

My advise to you would be to purchase what you'll be comfortable to wear.. I have a pro and like it very much, but I find it looks pretty large to me on my 7" wrist. I find myself more often wearing a 36-37mm watch instead.
Best wishes on your decision.

I have a Speedmaster reduced, and a Speedmaster. My choice is usually the reduced because it has more “bling” than the Speedmaster. Steel and 18-karat rose gold, black dial, rose gold sub dials, close to 30 years old. I love it.

This one is super rare I never seen one before this was the first photo ever. I looks amazing with the rose gold much nicer than the yellow gold ones. This color made it looks very attractive.

And there is a complete white edition 😀

This is the all white I see. I might like the Panda ones more.

I bought this one privately, in 1990. The guy had bought it in Germany while on honeymoon. Got into financial trouble from being deep in debt after his wife became ill, and they both lost their jobs. It came with no box or papers, so I suspect he sort of “smuggled” it back into Canada. His loss is my gain. An identical one (on a strap) appeared on the OB some time back, and another that was very much like it, as well. Mine came with a cheesy Omega strap that was too small for me, and besides, it was U G L Y! So, since no rose gold and steel bracelet was available, and yellow gold and steel was out of the question, I put a steel Omega bracelet on it. I believe this rose gold and steel model was for Europe, only, and made for only a short time.
