Question about a recently serviced PO

Morning all. So long story short, I purchased a 2201.50 that was serviced by Omega through Schwarzchild Jewelers in Richmond in December, but it didn’t come with a white card or slip from Omega for the service. The previous owner is trustworthy so I don’t doubt it was service. It did come with the bag of parts that was replaced as well as the red new style service box.

I’m noticing that the power reset is low for a recently serviced watch. I can wear it all day, take it off Monday night and by Wednesday morning it’s dead. PR should be about 48-50hrs if I recall. Am I correct in thinking that a recently serviced watch should not be dead after < a day and a half? I’m in Texas and cannot just go by that jeweler but I’ve read about calling the “service center” to request the white warranty card, is that a thing? I’d like to have the local OB deal with it if possible but I’m sure I would need proof of the service. Any advice?

Did you start by winding it manually 40 turns (after it fully ran down) and then wore it till monday evening?

Omega doesn't supply any record of the service any longer. The full power reserve will only be observed if the watch is fully wound at the beginning. Winding it a few turns, setting the time/date, and then wearing it "all day" is not enough. Omega says if the watch has been running greater than the rated power reserve and is stopped to fully wind the watch and then set the time (and date).

I did, 40 the first time then 60 turns the next just to make sure it was full.

I wound it 60 turns on the last trial which should be enough. Im not sure how to verify a fully wound watch though. What I can say is my last 2201.50 (sold, regretted, repurchased), Sub Date, 300M, all had no problems running only being worn every other day.

If.you're sure - really sure - that you put in 60 FULL crown turns, then send it back to Omega.
