Oops, you left off a word after "Tech Analyst's" . I'll bet it was a good one, too. Mother-In-Law? Probation Officer? Prostate Tester?

Could be. But then again, I’ve sold watches on here to newbies. Not saying your fella ain’t a scammer, but there are some people who buy and don’t post much.

I ignore all requests to communicate via email unless I know the person. This forum is a great asset to the community.

    Thanks OF

They may also ask to communicate via email to get you to click on a link “view my watches here” in order to expose you to malware or provide your user information for the website. WTB posts are asking for trouble. Almost a guarantee that you’ll get scammers knocking on your electronic door. It’s like saying to somebody on the street “excuse me I have my pockets filled with cash and I’m looking for the nearest Rolex store”

Quite a well known guy on Instagram

not sure the same person is behind the same nickname here ⚠️

You can email him (address above) and ask if he has an account on OF to cross-check.

I’m a prince and need to shift large amounts of diamonds - please send me your details. That’s normally a warning sign. ;)

In all seriousness, if any doubts, I’d check here first. Or just buy from a trusted and recommended seller on OF. 0 POsts, 0 likes - not a great start. Tread carefully with PMs.

Always buy the seller, then the watch.

This! Don’t chase the watch. It’s very likely there will be another one very similar to it...

If you use Paypal to purchase don't send friends and family unless it's a friend or family. It's a violation of their terms of service. If someone is unethical enough for that they're unethical period. It also exposed you to risk.
On one forum I frequent sellers must have a paid membership and there is a feedback system as well.

The scamming is such a waste of my time. I hate spending so much time trying to get a seller/buyer in order to complete a purchase/sale.
