Well after all these years finally I was able to pull the trigger and buy myself an Omega Smpc Blue dial 2018 model. After owning a couple of TAG Heuer Aquaracers in the past it feels to me I've just moved up a League from the Championship to the Premiership. I've always wanted this watch for many, many years and never thought in a million years I would ever pay 拢3600.00 for this beautiful Omega watch. Having spent around the 2k mark for my couple of TAGs i just wished I had made the purchase sooner and to be fair I wouldn't of bothered at all with the TAGs in the first place. However the bonus for me was when I got my hands on my dream Omega i ended up with the 25th anniversary 2018 model so I knew I was getting the latest design. My only problem is now the sales person who sold me my watch had a Omega PO on his wrist and whilst i was waiting for my strap to be adjusted in the jewellers i was looking at the PO watches and I was quietly thinking to myself this dream of mine eventually getting to own my ultimate dream watch well may just of been superseded by the PO? Well if only I had the money and courage to pay the PO prices maybe though one day just maybe I can only dream.

I've always had different watches in the past from Casio G Shocks, Bulovas, Citizen, Seiko only because I have never been able to afford a Omega Seamaster Smpc. I used to deal and change them like the wind knowing that I wasn't really happy. Then she i went on to TAG Heuer about a couple of years ago I realized I was going in the right direction starting on the bottom of the ladder with Swiss Luxury watches no disrespect to any TAG owners out there the last thing I want to do is make any enemies. But eventually again I knew deep down again i still wasn't really happy when I had my two Aquaracers. Then two weeks ago I decided to have a look at my dream watch I've always wanted and finally pulled the trigger! I know what your all thinking now but you will only get bored of your Smpc and who knows you maybe right but after achieving to me what is my ultimate goal in watches even if I wanted to buy the PO unless I win the lottery my Smpc is not disappointing me. I suppose realistically of all the luxury watch brands Rolex, Patek etc they do nothing for me to be fair even if I was a millionaire i wouldn't buy any of these brands for some reason I've have always admired and wanted the Seamaster Smpc since the day I've been into watches i think it's the Omega brand being respected but not over the top and a certain prestige that's not in your face of you know what I mean.

I really miss ulackfocus.

Ahh it's good to see a young bloke, excited about his new watch.
You picked right as the PO has become a bit oversized lately
Even Dennis would give this new guy a go.

Welcome to the forum @JAH14 and enjoy your watch. ( set yourself a avatar and enjoy the learning and banter )
