I lived in the US for a few years and was amazed at how different the same English language could be ... sailing round a boooo-wee and then driving off in a Knee-sahhn just seemed weird. 😉

As for Nissan, it's not an English word - and in the proper Japanese pronunciation, it's Knee-sahn.
