·For sale or trade is a very nice 1966 stainless steel Omega Constellation 168.010 reference with a pie pan, onyx accent, and crosshair dial. The dial is in nice condition with only minor blemishes. The case shows wear but still presents well. The movement runs, winds, and sets well, but service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use. Available with an optional correct and uncommon 19mm 1068 beads of rice bracelet. Price is $1,500 on the leather strap (reduced from $1,650) or $1,800 on the BOR (reduced from $1,950).
Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original, non-refinished, silver pie pan dial is in very nice condition. It features desirable onyx accents and a crosshair. There is very light patina throughout and one small scratch just to the right of center.
Case: Original 35mm 168.010 reference case shows wear and may have been polished at some point as the bevels on the lugs are no longer sharp, however the case is in overall nice condition. The observatory logo on the case back is in nice condition (currently has a case back sticker on it to prevent wear).
Crown: Original signed crown.
Crystal: Generic crystal has some light scratches that will buff out.
Movement: Original 564 caliber quick-set date movement dates to 1966. The movement runs, winds, and sets well, but service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use.
Bracelet/strap: Optionally comes on the 19mm 1068 reference beads of rice bracelet pictured with 527 endlinks. These bracelets are pretty uncommon, it took me a while to source this one. It shows wear but still presents well and is full length (or very close to it). If the bracelet isn’t of interest, the watch would come on a dark brown Altamarea strap (see last photo below).
Price is $1,500 on the leather strap (reduced from $1,650) or $1,800 on the BOR (reduced from $1,950). Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters, Constellations, Geneves, Conquests, and Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here). I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but cost to be discussed with buyer. Transferwise is preferred for payment. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in the USA.
