Up for sale is a bumper 2652 reference Omega Constellation with a two tone waffle dial and rose gold arrowhead markers. A very uncommon and attractive dial variant. Dial: Original, non-refinished two-tone waffle/textured/honeycomb dial features very uncommon and attractive rose gold arrowhead markers and hands. The dial is generally clean but does have some light discoloration just above the center as well as some small marks throughout the center portion of the dial (possibly missing clear coat, not sure). The dial isn’t perfect but is still very attractive in my opinion. Case: Original 34.5mm stainless steel 2652 reference case is in nice condition but has been lightly polished. The bevels are still clearly visible, and the rose gold medallion on the caseback remains in decent condition with all stars visible. Crown: I believe the crown to be a replacement. It’s a vintage flat foot logo clover crown typically found on Seamasters. There is some debate about whether these clover crowns originally came on Constellations in the 1950s too, so I suppose it could be original. Either way, if you want to replace it, there are several original vintage thick decagonal crowns on eBay. Crystal: Generic crystal is free of scratches. Movement: Original 354 caliber bumper automatic movement winds and sets fine but is running several minutes a day fast so could use a service. Serial number dates the watch to 1953. Strap: Comes on the 18mm brown DeBeer leather strap with steel buckle pictured. I have a vintage 5-row Omega BOR available at extra cost.
