·For sale today this lovely steel and pink gold Omega Constellation reference 2648 with waffle dial from the early 1950's. The 2648 together with the 2652 are the earliest Constellation references and the 2648 has a larger dial and thinner bezel that the others from the 1950's giving it somewhat a unique look.
The cream two tone waffle dial with crosshairs has some patina and is very attractive with its pink gold markers and matching dauphine hands. It really looks the part and is fantastic on the wrist.
The 35mm steel 2648 case is in good shape with a strong bezel and lugs. Signed original but later thin decagonal crown. The case back is also in good shape and has a very nice pink gold medallion and is signed 2648 -1.
Running an automatic calibre 354 with a 13.7 million serial number dating to about 1952. It is winding, setting and running well, although the watch has not been serviced in the few years of my ownership.
Selling this one head only but can inlude a brown leather strap if required.
