Hey guys,

Just wondering how hard it is to find a caseback for a 145.012-67 specifically in my case. my speedmaster came with a 145.022 - 69. i know they exist but what amount of EXTRA casebacks not being used do you think are actually laying around for purchase/use? its the final piece to my speedmaster being correct but im losing hope ill find one.

anyone else have this trouble or information on the topic?

thanks

A few more posts and you can post a wtb.

145.012 casebacks do pop up. Keep a close watch on ebay. Don't give up hope. A -69 caseback has value too. Maybe someone out there needs a trade.

i see lots of the 145.0012 but i know they are not a vintage part that would have came on mine or a premoon speedy. they are new arent they?

Yes, they're new. But until you find one, not a bad stand in.

Or a priek, they're nice. I use 'em.

whats a priek?

the 69 does the trick cosmetically from the outside but i know on the inside its hiding its dirty little secret (69)

I bought a 68 transitional last year with an incorrect caseback and almost immediately a member reached out to do a swap. You'll get one eventually.

Isn't there a thread going right now where someone has just bought a straightlug with a 67 back?
