Cool... I think inscriptions like that are a desirable feature on a watch. Wonder if player/coach rosters are available. I'd have to think that even though the Sugar Bowl was not the commercial monstrosity it has now become, playing in it was still a watch-worthy big deal in 1946. Though small, I find that they wear really well. Mine is in regular rotation.
Any idea what UG bracelet this one will take? It's an early 1957 bumper movement UG polerouter with 19mm lugs.
@Larry S could you post a picture of your crown for the Outdoorsman. Yours seems to be original while mine isn't.

I think yours is a UG crown though. Have a look at the add. Mine is a different case, back and reference.
Not the same watch I guess. The add has one sword hand like rolokr's watch. Ours appear to be a mix of all three on that add. Maybe later models?
Just the one UG for me. A late 50's Polerouter no date. It's a great way to get a Gerald Genta design at a reasonable price.
