Can anyone identify this one? No serial number engraved and I haven’t opened the case. Suspect from the 50s and sold in England.

Penny only just dropping now, sorry. Would this (superb) watch have been commemorating a "new arrival" that happened December 19 1958 (see inscription on tag)? If so, anyone into that kind of thing might just be able to triangulate enough birth record evidence to trace the original provenance...

I assumed it was just some makeshift purchase record, or “on hold” indication? Who knows..

A 14k 1959 23Z ...tags and box. Can’t wait to actually wear a suit with it! 2021 here we come!!

New to me UC powered by a 431.
This cal 17 jewels (apparently non-adjusted) must be made for US market to my limited knowledge.
Bought it locally for approx 400 US$ watch head only. Please share your thoughts.
