...The original serial number 188'423 identifies a hunter pocket watch in silver. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 18LS and was invoiced on 2 July 1881 to the company Victor Fleury, which was at that time our agent for France....

My first Longines ... ref 8508-1, cal 431. Feel in love with this soft- square case, sooo many angles ... and the five minute markers in the shape of little onyx covered houses... this high beat will join my UN and King Seiko 36k beats.

Stunning pocket watch. I love the silver textured case with the Roman numerals applied to it ...matching the ones on the enamel dial. Wow. Congrats.
