Recently got this for my wife for Christmas. Christmas of what year will depend upon my watchmaker. The movement is a 10.86N. The serial number on the movement places it toward the end of the 1928 production year. Any comments or info about the watch would be greatly appreciated, as always.
Very nice watch. The dial is noteworthy as it looks to be solid silver and indelible, meaning that the signature, numerals, etc. were engraved and then filled with an enamel ink. An expensive process that would disappear from Longines watches in the 1930's. The movement is also from Longines' peak, in terms of finishing.
