Newest addition to my collection; enamel/sector dial. Can't wait for it to arrive so I'll post better pictures later 😀

Thanks S!

As I understood @Modest_Proposal, enamel dials were declining in popularity while sector were becoming more popular, so this combo is really uncommon. Couldn't find anything similar on online..

Couldn't find anything similar on line

Agree it’s uncommon,
However and as a general rule, I’d be cautious about drawing conclusions when you “can’t find anything similar on line” in a two hour search, or even a couple years of observation on the internet.
In depth understanding requires a few years to build up 😉

Of course, my research into this watch is just beginning and that's the best part, but it rarely happens that I haven't been able to find something online. I am not saying that this is a some kind of rare watch, but I find it interesting that there is not too much information or pictures. 😀

Maybe you haven’t been here long enough 😉
Wait and see. The internet can give the illusion everything is out there, and indeed there’s more and more — but not all, that’s the beauty of learning.

What is better than 1940s Longines? This Sei Tacche was found stored together with other watches in a burlap sack, and has been running lately at 1 spd deviation!

Here's my only Longines pocket watch (for very large pockets or, more useful, for sports timing). A nice detail: the very sensitive balance stop mechanism.
